Word of the week: Might
Quote of the week: What is mighty? One who makes an enemy into a friend!
Once again the fair week was smooth and
enjoyable. A big
thanks to teachers, staff, parents, and all volunteers who made
last week a great one.
This week is a relatively quiet one down in the
elementary. While
the activities are not present, learning and hard work in the
classroom will be evident.
Every day in the classroom is a chance for the student to
build a foundation for the next day’s lesson.
That’s why being on time and being present is so
important for our students.
Please be an effective instrument in your child’s
attendance and timeliness.
With all of the importance that the legislature and state
department of education has put on testing, we are charged with
the mission of making sure are students are test-ready for
grades 3 and up. The
understanding of math and the proficiency of reading are keys to
this process. Please
partner with your child’s teacher and this school to provide the
optimal learning environment resulting in test scores this
community can hang its hat on!
